Our Prices

This room rental has a capacity limit of 100 people

Room Rental 

Monday - Friday (7:30am - 5pm): $25/hour

Monday - Thursday (5pm -11pm): $45/hour 

Friday (5pm - 11pm): $55/hour with a deposit of $100 required 

Saturday and Sunday (7:30am - 11pm): $70/hour with a deposit of $200 required



Security is required for all events after 5pm as well as all events on the weekends. This cost is $30/hour.


Event Manager

An Event Manager is required for all events after 5pm the rate for this is $25/hour. 


Janitorial and Kitchen Services

Janitorial Services are required for all events - 3 hours minimum the rate for these services is $30/hour with an additional fee for any events occurring after 5pm.

Kitchen usage is for caterers only and the rate is $15/hour.

Cleaning and Damages

The renter is required to remove all perishable and non-perishable items and mop up any liquid spills anywhere on the premises. All bagged trash must be placed with in the receptacles provided, not on the floor. The renter will be charged for any and all damages caused either directly or indirectly by their use of the facilitiy.


Renter, event guests and vendors may park only in the parking garage located on the west side of Forest Avenue. Vendors and/or renters may use the circle drive only for loading/unloading purposes, but must remove vehicles immediately following the delivery/pick-up.

Food and Beverages 

You may bring in your own food and beverages ( excluding alcohol) observing the following guidelines: 

  • Kitchen space is available to caterers at a rate of $15/hour

  • Arrangements for kitchen usage must be made with Ennovation Center staff at least two weeks prior to the event

  • All bottled beverages must be removed at the end of the event. This includes empty bottles as well 

  • Please provide your own napkins, cups, plates and utensils 

  • All food, beverage, and cake deliveries need to be made during the rental contract time. Extra time for such deliveries may be arranged with Ennovation Center staff at least two weeks prior to your event. 

  • No drugs, alcohol, or tobacco is allowed on the premises at any time. 

Floral Arrangements and Décor 

You may contract your own florists and/or event planner/decorator. All floral  arrangements and décor may be set up any time during the rental contract rime and must be removed from the premises before the ending of your contract time. Floral arrangements and décor must meet the following conditions: 

  • All decorations are subject to the approval of the Ennovation Center staff 

  • No decorations shall be attached to the walls, ceilings or ceiling tiles. 

  • No tape of any kind may be used on the floors 

  • No rice, confetti, birdseed, glitter, flower petals (real or artificial), bubbles, potpourri, fireworks, spray foam, party poppers, shaving cream or similar items may be used anywhere inside or outside of the Ennovation Center

  •  Any decorations that are not removed from the premises before the ending of the contract are subject to disposal and additional cleaning charges 

  • No open flames of any type may be used (excludes catering equipment) 


You may contract your own musicians or DJ's. Music may be set up any time during the rental contract and must be removed from the premises before the ending of your contract. All City of Independence noise ordinances must be observed. Fog/bubble machines are not allowed. 

Room Arrangements

The Ennovation Center will be happy to consult on customizing the room layout to meet your event needs. We reserve the right to adjust the layout if needed due to any last minute changes. Final room arrangements need to be submitted to Ennovation Center staff no later than one week prior to the event.

Final Payment 

Final payment is due 30 days prior to your event. Failure to receive payment by the due date will result in the cancellation of your event reservation and loss of your deposit. Payment must be made by check or credit card. No cash will be accepted. 

Cancellation Policy

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel your event, the following charges will apply: 

Cancellation 30 days prior to event: 100% refund on deposit 

Cancellation 14 days prior to event: 75% refund on deposit 

Cancellation less than 14 days prior to event: 50% refund on deposit

Outside Vendors

The renter may contract with outside vendors to provide goods and services for the event. Vendors must meet all criteria provided through the Ennovation Center. The renter must provide Ennovation Center staff with a completed Vendor Worksheet no later than one week prior to your event.
